Close links exist between policy, practice and research. Yet data are often not available to help inform policy and/or practice. This specialisation of the Master of Social Research gives students a solid grounding in social research for development and policy. Courses are offered on development policy, social policy, population policy and planning, international migration, education and labour force, gender, and health.
