The CHAM Health and Gender specialisation is designed for those who have a particular interest in the application of critical interdisciplinary concepts and methods for addressing gender related social, cultural, political, and economic issues in health research and practice.
Potential students include people working in government and non-government organizations, independent consultants, health practitioners, or recent graduates in social sciences and medicine who wish to develop a gender expertise in health related areas by pursuing a professional program in which they can be mentored by health and gender specialists.
Requirements
The 48 unit specialisation in Health and Gender requires the completion of 24 units of compulsory courses and 24 units of elective courses as specified in the 'Summary of courses' for this specialisation.
