The Graduate Diploma in Arts, specialising in Art History and Curatorship is designed for students who have completed a program of undergraduate studies, frequently not in this discipline, and wish to receive graduate qualifications in Art History with a specialisation in museum curatorship. It is a recognised Diploma in vocational training and for further study.
Prerequisites
Candidates are required to complete courses to the value of 36 units (normally 6 courses) taught in the area of their specialisation consisting of:
- At least 6 units (1 course) selected from Group 1 courses;
- At least 6 additional units (1 course) selected from Group 2 courses;
- A maximum of 24 units from the list of elective courses.
Requirements
Applicants should have a three year Bachelors degree in a cognate area from an Australian tertiary institution or its international equivalent.
