The Graduate Diploma in History allows students to deepen their understanding of the discipline of history. The coursework includes two compulsory courses, History and Theory and Researching and Writing History, and a selection from a range of other courses that cover many historical periods and exemplify a variety of historical techniques.
Prerequisites
Candidates are required to complete courses to the value of 36 units (normally 6 courses) taught in the area of their specialisation. A maximum of 12 units (normally 2 courses) may be taken in cognate areas.
Requirements
Applicants should have a three year Bachelors degree in a cognate area from an Australian tertiary institution or its international equivalent.
