This minor is incompatible with the Corporate Sustainability major.

The minor in Corporate Sustainability provides an overview of the increasing constraints placed on business by both the natural environment and society, and insights into how corporations may create long-term value through innovative responses to these constraints.

Prerequisites

Some courses in this minor have the completion of 24 units of study as a prerequisite.

Requirements

This minor requires the completion of 48 units, which must include:

12 units from completion of the following compulsory courses:

BUSN3017 Corporate Social Responsibility, Accountability and Reporting

MGMT2001 Corporate Sustainability

6 units from completion of a core course from the following list:

*MGMT3101 Business and the Natural Environment

*MGMT3102 Business and its Social Stakeholders

6 units from completion of a core course from the following list:

ECON2128 Resource and Environmental Economics (P) OR ECON2129 Resource and Environmental Economics (H)

MKTG2002 Sustainable Marketing

*This course is not offered in 2013. Students who are graduating in 2013 are able to replace this requirement with MGMT3016 Business Ethics
