Course Description

Key issues in Australian archaeology are examined through a critique of the presented data and an understanding of the context and structure of the debates concerning those issues. Students are asked to undertake critical evaluations of original source material in investigating each issue.

Course Classification(s) AdvancedAdvanced courses are designed for students having reached 'first degree' level of assumed knowledge, which provide a deep understanding of contemporary issues; or 'second degree' and higher levels of knowledge; or for transition to research training programs.
