Course Description

This course introduces the form and function of the main groups of organisms and the relationships between them. Topics to be covered include: bacteria, the protists, the fungi, plants, invertebrates, and vertebrates.

Indicative Assessment

Assessment is based on tests for the practical component and exams for the theory component.

Workload 3 lectures per week and 6 three hour practical sessions.
