Course Description

Each week, students in this course will read, discuss and review a landmark paper from one of the various disciplines of computer science. The papers will be chosen so as to expose the students to a broad array of topics. The unit will also introduce students to the resources, like the science citation index, necessary to research and evaluate the origins and impact of a paper.

Indicative Assessment

Reports and Presentations (70%), Discussion Questions (25%) and Seminar Participation (5%)
