Course Description

This is a semester long unit during which students are required to complete a practical project on an appropriate computing topic. They will be expected to carry out independent research on this topic whilst working under a supervisor who is affiliated with National ICT Australia (NICTA). The nature of the project can be theoretical, experimental, design or development based on the interests of the student and the availability of supervisors.

Course Classification(s) AdvancedAdvanced courses are designed for students having reached 'first degree' level of assumed knowledge, which provide a deep understanding of contemporary issues; or 'second degree' and higher levels of knowledge; or for transition to research training programs.
