| Course Description |
The honours section provides a more detailed theoretical and empirical treatment of most topics covered concurrently in the pass course. |
| Learning Outcomes | The purpose of the course is to give an introduction to the basic theoretical models and a taste of the empirical analysis that characterises labour economics |
| Indicative Assessment |
Assessment will be based on the same arrangements as for the pass course although examinations and essays for the honours students will be marked at a higher standard. Some exam questions given to the honours section will differ from those given to the pass course. |

Lectures and tutorials as for the pass course plus one additional honours class per week. |

Students are expected to have solid preparation in microeconomics and calculus and an introductory course in statistics and regression analysis. |
