| Course Description |
The Action Learning Project 2 provides participants with a guided opportunity to invest an aspect of their academic practice within the themes of teaching and learning (EDUC8002), curriculum and innovation (EDUC8003), research supervision (EDUC8004), and academic leadership (EDUC8007). Projects are typically conducted as a 3 unit requirement attached to EDUC8002, EDUC8003, EDUC8004 and EDUC8007. Participants negotiate or are assigned a project topic with the relevant course convenor. Participants would normally complete four 3 unit projects (EDUC8006 and EDUC8010) as part of the Masters of Higher Education. |
| Indicative Assessment |
Assessment will be through a project report. Assessment will be determined as satisfactory/unsatisfactory. However, the project report may be resubmitted if necessary. |
| Workload |
The Action Research Project is integrated as a 3 unit requirement attached to each of the primary theme courses of the Master of Higher Education. (EDUC8002, EDUC8003, EDUC8004 and EDUC8007). There are no additional contact hours to those specified for each theme course, however individual project consultation times may be negotiated with the relevant course coordinator if desired. |
