| Course Description |
This course provides participants with the theoretical and practical tools for improving the social and environmental performance of commercial businesses and other organisations. Participants will also learn about how more sustainable practices have been encouraged, and measured, around the world by businesses, governments, international bodies and non-government organisations. The purpose of the course is to provide participants with the tools to analyse, select and implement different triple bottom line approaches and tools for achieving socially and environmentally sustainable business. Participants will also gain an understanding of the different goals sought by businesses adopting these tools, and the range of internal and external drivers for adoption of these tools. Attention will also be given to the connections between tools, governance systems, regulatory frameworks, and an organisation?s competitive position. |
