| Course Description |
This course is directed at students interested in the study of investments, asset pricing and valuation, stock selection and market efficiency as well as topics on bond portfolio management, international diversification, funds management and portfolio performance. The course provides a practical analysis of modern financial markets, traders and trading strategies while also covering the theoretical underpinnings. |

| Indicative Assessment |
Final Examination - 70% Tutorial - 10% Optional Mid-semester exam - 20% If you choose not to sit the mid-semester exam, the final exam will be worth 90% of the total assessment. There will be no further or supplementary mid semester examinations. To achieve an automatic pass grade in this unit you must obtain 50% or more as an aggregate mark on the assessment. |
