| Course Description |
This course explores a range of features of Bahasa Indonesia. A major topic is the grammatical system; others are the phonological system, the place in the lexicon of foreign loan words, and features of colloquial Indonesian. The emphasis is on learning about the language rather than on practicing using it to communicate. However, sessions will often involve some active practice of language features as well. |
