| Learning Outcomes |
On satisfying the requirements for this course, students will demonstrate an advanced understanding and critical analysis of a specific field of neuroscience including the current state of research in the field, a theoretical understanding of the underlying techniques; and a conceptual understanding of potential avenues to advance the knowledge in the field. Students will have gained skills which enable them to interpret, synthesize and critically analyse the published literature; have enhanced scientific processing and research skills in experimental design, as well as information literacy, oral and written communication skills, and will have the ability to apply the knowledge to new problems. |

| Workload | Expected work-load is a minimum of 10 hrs/week, including 1-2 contact hours/week with academic mentor as required. |
