Course Description	The requirements for the fourth year normally consist of: 1. The honours seminar in Population Studies (Theories in Demography). This course is offered by the Graduate Program in Demography and may be taken at honours level. 2. An appropriate later-year course taken in the Faculties or in the Graduate Program in Demography, and assessed at fourth-year honours level. 3. A sub-thesis of 15,000 to 20,000 words supervised by staff from one or more of the following: the Population Studies Program, Sociology, School of Social Sciences, the School of Resources, Environment and Society, the Graduate Program in Demography. Normally, the sub-thesis will count for 60% of the overall result, the graduate seminar and the additional course for 20% each.
