Course Description

This is an advanced seminar-based course.  Students will work through a complex organizational problem using the relevant theoretical and empirical literature. 

In addition, a number of core topics that apply social psychological theory and research to organizations will be outlined.  In this way, students will learn how to link theory and practice and to think critically about organizational problems.

Students will be required to present material to other students and staff in the form of both a professional and academic presentation.

The aim is to develop students' verbal communication skills and ability to present material to different audiences.

Workload Two hour seminar per week
Course Classification(s) AdvancedAdvanced courses are designed for students having reached 'first degree' level of assumed knowledge, which provide a deep understanding of contemporary issues; or 'second degree' and higher levels of knowledge; or for transition to research training programs.

Eligibility Bachelor degree; with second and third year Pyschology
Requisite Statement Second and third year psychology is required.
