| Course Description | The course develops further the basic reading skills introduced in RUSS6002 with further study of Russian morphology, and building reading strategies, dictionary skills and confidence in approaching the analysis of more complex sentences. Word-formation processes are examined through the study of common prefixes and suffixes. Students can begin guided work on texts in their own particular field of study. |
| Learning Outcomes | On successful completion of this course, students will have covered all the basic structures of the Russian language, mastered the use of the Russian dictionary, built up a stock of essential vocabulary and the confidence to approach moderately complex texts in their field of interest. |
