| Course Description |
Based on a communicative and culture-based approach, this course is designed to further develop language skills acquired in SPAN1001. Special emphasis will be given to improving oral skills, written practices and grammatical accuracy. |
| Learning Outcomes | By the end of this course students should be able to converse in more complex predictable communicative situations with a higher degree of fluency. They should be able to follow the class in the target language since Spanish is the main medium of instruction. Students should be able to read a variety of texts and their writing skills should include the use of more complex structures when expressing themselves in the form of a composition. |
| Indicative Assessment | A mixture of tests (70%), assignments (20%), performance and participation in class (10%). |
