Graduate Diploma in International Affairs

Add Graduate Diploma in International Affairs to my interest list
Program Requirements

The GDIA is a 48-unit coursework award. It has a dedicated introductory course - World Politics - but otherwise draws on the same coursework as the Master of International Affairs.

The grade requirement for the GDIA is at least 50%, with no fails recorded.

If students achieve an average of 70% for the two semesters of Graduate Diploma coursework, with no fails recorded, they are eligible to transfer to the MIA or the MAIR and gain status for 24 units of the GDIA coursework.

Please note: For students who commence GDIA in Semester 2 and subsequently transfer to MIA or MAIR, the duration of the total program will be extended by one semester (to allow for the requirement of International Relations Theory, which is only offered in semester 1).

See GSIA Working Rules for further details.
