Course Description

An examination of quantitative analyses for students in archaeology, biological anthropology and social anthropology. It describes the nature of data and statistical treatment of evidence.  

Learning Outcomes Students will acquire an understanding of and skills in the quantitative analysis of data in the context of archaeological, anthropological and biological anthropology research.
Indicative Assessment

Take-home open-book test (33.3%), results interpretation exercise (33.3%) and review (33.3%).

Normally offered every year
3 hours per week for seven weeks
