| Course Description |
The aim of this course is to introduce PhB students to the research process and to provide them with basic training in research skills and techniques while, at the same time, introducing them to the range of Arts disciplines available for study. Topics to be explored include research concepts, the role of paradigms, disciplinary discourses and practices and the writing-up process. Academics from a range of humanities and social science disciplines at the ANU will present aspects of their research to the class. |
| Indicative Assessment |
Three small exercises/essays (15% each) and one 2500 word essay (55%). |
