| Course Description |
Malaysia has a multicultural population about the size of Australia's. This course focuses on dramatic social, economic and political transformations during 50 years of Independence. Particular attention will be given to the impact of Malaysia's longest-serving prime minister, Dr Mahathir Mohamad, including on relations with Australia, and changes under Abdullah Badawi. |
