Course Description

A selection of topics from: materials chemistry, main group and transition metal cluster chemistry, bioinorganic chemistry, electrochemistry, asymmetric catalysis and other areas of modern inorganic chemistry.

Learning Outcomes On satisfying the requirements of this course, students will have the knowledge and skills to demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the key concepts in several frontier topics in inorganic chemistry.
Indicative Assessment

Assessment will be based on:

  • Mid-term exam (50%; LO 1)
  • Final exam (50%; LO 1)

Maximum of 32 hours of lectures/tutorials
