| Course Description |
This course will provide students with a theoretical and practical introduction to econometrics. Students will learn how to use linear regression techniques to study the behavior of economic variables and to analyse the relationships between them. The course covers estimation, hypothesis testing, econometric modeling, econometric policy analysis and prediction, and it will emphasise the use of econometric software to study actual data sets relating to various economies (including the Australian economy). |
