Course Description

An examination of some major and representative texts of the Scottish literary tradition. The course will introduce students to works from the Scottish Renaissance, Enlightenment, the Romantic period and the Twentieth Century.

Indicative Assessment

2,000 word essay (50%) and Two-hour examination or�2,000 word essay (50%).

Workload 20 Hours of Lectures and 1 hour tutorial per week.
