Before making an investment, an entity must make two key decisions, namely: (i) The amount of wealth they want to invest; and (ii) What assets this wealth should be invested in. FINM3001 Investments extends the building blocks provided in FINM1001 Money Markets and Finance to focus on the second decision. More specifically, FINM3001 Investments provides a detailed discussion on how entities choose between alternative investments, with the main two dimensions of interest being the return and risk of each. |
