| Course Description |
This course provides a synthesis of theoretical international finance and applied financial management through the use of case study questions and assignments focusing on multinational business financing strategies. |
| Learning Outcomes | This course aims to introduce the concepts of applied international financial management. Students will examine the relationships that exist between national stock markets, currency markets and interest rate markets. Special emphasis will be placed upon the interaction between the international investor and multinational enterprises within these markets. Students will also be introduced to the techniques of hedging foreign exchange, interest rate and political risks, as well as the philosophy underpinning the need to hedge these risks. . |
