Course Description	History Honours consists of: (a) History 4A, a research thesis of 16,000 words on an approved topic. The thesis must be submitted on a specified date soon after the end of the first semester; students will give at least one seminar on their topic during the first semester. (b) History 4B, a special course involving intensive reading, weekly tutorials and the presentation of essays during the second semester. (c) History 4C, a special course involving intensive reading, weekly tutorials and the presentation of written essays during the second semester.
Indicative Assessment	History 4A - 16,000 word thesis (50%), History 4B (25%), History 4C (25%).
