Course Description

This course involves supervised work on a study project prepared in Indonesia, and is tailored to the needs of individual students. It will involve bibliography, special readings, preparation of a work-in-progress seminar, and writing a report of approximately 6,000 words in Indonesian.

Indicative Assessment

Proposed Assessment: Essay in Indonesian, based on research carried out in-country (80%), plus oral exam (20%).

Workload

Available only to students taking the Bachelor of Asian Studies (Indonesian) degree, or Bachelor of Translation(Asian Region).

Year in Indonesia (INDN3550 OR SEAI3550 OR SEAI3500) and Permission of Coordinator.
