| Course Description |
Syllabus: The course is designed to provide a wide range of knowledge and skills which are necessary to develop the Japanese communication skills at the beginner’s level, and to establish a basis of further study of the language. |
| Learning Outcomes |
By the end of the semester, the successful learner of the course will be expected: (i) To have good basic knowledge of the system of the Japanese language; (ii) To be able to produce and comprehend various types of simple sentences/ expressions; (iii) To be able to communicate in Japanese in situations involving the day-to-day life and some limited topics; (iv) To obtain basic knowledge of Japanese culture and people; and (v) To have good self-study skills of the Japanese language. |
