Course Description

This course further builds up beginning student's active and passive understanding of modern spoken Korean. By the end of the course students will be able to conduct a simple daily conversation and to find their way around in Korea.

Learning Outcomes To provide students with a beginner's competency in spoken and written Korean, including the ability to communicate in Korean in basic, everyday situations (asking directions, buying clothes, introducing oneself, talking about family etc.).
Indicative Assessment

Two mid-term tests – one written, one oral – (together 30%), one final written exam (35%) and one final oral exam (35%).
