| Course Description |
This course builds upon the concepts and ideas introduced in Australian Public Law and Commonwealth Constitutional Law. In 2010, the course will focus on Ch III of the Constitution - the federal judicial system. It will look at the separation of powers, and the implications that separation has for federal, State and Territory courts; the exercise of federal jurisdiction by federal, State and Territory courts and the law that is applicable when a court is exercising federal jurisdiction; and the jury trial requirements of s 80. |
