| Course Description | This course provides students with an opportunity to undertake guided systematic study in a relevant area of interest not covered by other program offerings or to explore in more depth the theoretical underpinnings of key debates in ethics and public policy |

When successfully completed, students will have developed an advanced understanding both of central and current issues in a chosen area of professional and applied ethics. |
| Indicative Assessment | one 6000 word essay or two 3000 word essays |
| Workload | Students will, in consultation with the convener and relevant staff, pick a topic of study for the unit. The convener and relevant staff will provide a reading list to direct the students study appropriately. The student will then meet regularly with staff to discuss readings, and plan assessment tasks. |
