Course Description

An introduction to Christianity in Australia and its impact on Modern Australia. A philosophical introduction to the three Semitic religions (Judaism, Christianity & Islam). Religion and Society. An historical introduction to Islam and Islam in the world today.

Indicative Assessment

 Two 2,000 - 2,500 word essays (90%) and tutorial performance (10%).

Workload

Two hours of lectures and one one-hour tutorial per week.
Co-taught by: Asian Religions Program / Faculty of Arts.
