Master of Laws (Legal Practice)
The master degree requires courses totalling 48 units made up as follows:
- A maximum of 24 units of unspecified status for completion of the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
- At least 12 units chosen from a nominated list of courses.
- A maximum of 12 units from postgraduate level courses offered by the ANU College of Law excluding Legal Workshop courses and Fundamental courses.
- Status for no more than 6 units may be given for courses completed outside of the Law program.
Students have seven years to complete the LLM (Legal Practice). The seven years starts from the commencement of the GDLP.
