This program has been created in response to increased global demand for microscopy specialists who underpin a wide variety of research fields in the biological and physical sciences. The Centre for Advanced Microscopy at the ANU is a leading provider of microscopy services, and, by making use of novel teaching methods for the acceleration of learning and the development of expertise, is an ideal place to train researchers.

Students must maintain at least 65% passes in all courses offered in Semester 1 to continue into Semester 2.  Students who have not met the requirements in the first semester may opt to exit with a Graduate Certificate in Microscopy degree.
