The Graduate Studies Select Program:

The Graduate Studies Select Program is a new option for graduate studies at ANU.  Instead of enrolling in a program of study leading to an award in a specific academic discipline, you can enrol on a course-by-course basis and choose from across a range of discipline areas, subject to meeting the eligibility requirements for each course.

There is no closing date for applications to the Graduate Studies Program.  You may apply at any time throughout the year.  However course enrolments do have due dates and these are specified on the relevant section in the course descriptions.

How to Apply to the Graduate Studies Select Program:

1. View the list of courses available in the Graduate Studies Select Program.  Please note that some courses are restricted to certain award programs.

2. You can add courses you are interested in to “My Interests” so that you can keep track of them as you browse other courses available. Once you have a list of courses you are interested in you can then save “My Interests” as an rtf document by selecting “View All” and attach it to your application to become a Graduate Studies student.

3. If you are unsure of your eligibility for certain courses, please contact the Course Adviser for the relevant Course, or the Academic Adviser.

4. If you would like to apply to become a Graduate Studies student, click the "Apply Online" button in the top right hand corner of this page.

5. Ensure that when applying, you attach your "My Interests" courses to your application.  If you require assistance, please contact admiss.app@anu.edu.au

6. When you are ready to complete your online application, please note that the Program/Plan name is: Graduate Studies. The code is 7990XGRADS, which should appear automatically. If you experience any problems, please contact our office 02 6125 5487.

Depending on your course choice and the commencement date of that course, you may apply at any time throughout the year.  Course enrolments do have due dates, and these are specified on the relevant pages.
