Gender, Sexuality and Culture Honours

The requirements for entry into single Honours in Gender, Sexuality and Culture are:
1. Completion of the requirements of a Bachelor pass degree in an Arts area.
2. Completion of a Gender, Sexuality and Culture major (42 units) plus a further 3 later year courses (18 units) from Gender, Sexuality and Culture major, including:
i. a maximum of 3 courses (18 units) from Cognate courses specified in the major.
3. A Distinction average in all required later year courses.A student may commence Gender, Sexuality and Culture IV (Honours) in the second semester on agreement of Honours Convener.

GEND4105P Gender, Sexuality and Culture Honours IV (part time)
The requirements for entry into combined Honours in Gender, Sexuality and Culture are:
1. Completion of the requirements of a Bachelor pass degree in an Arts area.
2. Completion of a Gender, Sexuality and Culture major (42 units) plus a further later year course (6 units) from Gender, Sexuality and Culture major, including:
i. a maximum of 2 courses (12 units) from Cognate courses specified in the major.
3. A Distinction average in all required later year courses.
The Combined Honours year will comprise:
(a) Honours seminar in Gender, Sexuality and Culture;
(b) Coursework prescribed by the other Honours Program;
and
(c) A research thesis on a topic approved by both Honours Program Conveners.
(Percentage value of each to be agreed by both Honours Program Conveners)
