Students who want to undertake a program of graduate research study at ANU can do so through a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or a Master of Philosophy (Mphil). Coursework students attend classes and lectures. Graduate coursework generally results in the awarding of a Master degree, a Graduate Diploma, or a Graduate Certificate. ANU has introduced Graduate Studies Select, a program which offers coursework students more flexibility and diversity in their studies. |
The application process for graduate study at ANU depends on whether you are an international or local student, and the kind of program you are applying for. Prospective research students should read the Application Advice for Research Students. As well as applying to study, you may also need to apply to other areas of ANU, such as scholarships or accommodation. |
