The Graduate Diploma specialising in Classics is designed for students who wish to undertake study of the language, history, literature, art or other aspects of Ancient Greek and Roman culture.

Prerequisites

Applicants for the Graduate Diploma in Arts program should have obtained a Bachelor degree from an approved tertiary education institution, with at least six Credit level grades (60% or better) in courses other than first year courses.

The Graduate Diploma in Arts and the Master of Arts specialising in Classics are integrated to allow students who achieve an average grade of Distinction or higher (min. 70%) in the Graduate Diploma to transfer to the Master program.

Requirements

Candidates are required to complete courses to the value of 36 units (normally 6 courses) taught in the area of their specialisation.
