Learning Outcomes	By the end of this course you should be able to: demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of introduced workshop processes, procedures, languages and equipment work in an exploratory fashion with introduced workshop materials identify relevant historical/theoretical issues show familiarity with research methodologies
Indicative Assessment	Portfolio of studio work and visual journal (80%) and Documentation (20%). Assessment includes periodic critique and review sessions that provide ongoing feedback on work in progress.
Workload	6 hours per week lectures, tutorials, critiques and supervised studio practice and 3 hours per week independent studio practice.
