| Course Description |
Book Design 2 introduces alternate approaches to producing artist’s books with a balance of book design theory, practical binding experience and self-directed project work. A suite of books is produced which demonstrates an increased understanding of book structures and reveals an individual approach to course material. Occupation Health and Safety instruction is included. Note: Places in this course are limited. Students are advised to enrol as early as possible. |

Portfolio of studio work (80%) [LOs 1 – 4] Journal/Documentation/Studio Theory presentation (20%). [LOs 1 – 4] Assessment includes periodic critique and review sessions that provide ongoing feedback on work in progress. |
| Workload |
4 hours per week lectures, tutorials, critiques and supervised studio practice and 6 hours per week independent studio practice and other research. |
