| Course Description |
Religion—mainly Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism and Buddhism,—is intimately bound up with politics in South Asia. Particular attention is given to religious and political aspects of fundamentalism, communalism, militarism and movements for national independence. This unit focuses on India, Pakistan and Bangladash from 1858 - present. |
