Course Description	The course consists of a series of tutorials taken while BIAN2127 is in progress. It treats selected themes in primatology in critical detail.
Learning Outcomes	At the conclusion of this course students will understand the following: Independently set and answer a question from a specialised topic in Primatology, identifying suitable themes for an in-depth analysis Systematically search for and analyse the literature surrounding the topic of choice, including key literature and contemporary themes Produce a cogent, original argument that draws from the literature, in both written and verbal forms and is communicated logically and convincingly Participate in discussions of your peers major presentations in an intelligent and interactive manner
Indicative Assessment	Tutorial presentations (40%), a final 3,000-word essay (60%).
Workload	Normally offered in the same semester as the pre-/co-requisite course. Attendance in the pre/co-requisite course plus 3-4 hours extra tutorials

Requisite Statement	Concurrent enrolment in BIAN2127 Primate Ecology and Behavior or previous completion of BIAN2012 Primates (ANTH2011 Primates), or BIAN2126 Primate Evolutionary Biology.
