| Course Description |
The Faculty regrets to advise that this course has been withdrawn from the Semester 2 offering due to inadequate numbers. The course will provide students with an introduction to a communicative command of Burmese, with emphasis on interactive use of the language in commonly occurring situations. There will also be an introduction to a Reading command of the Burmese script. |

Graduate students attend joint classes with undergraduates but may expect more rigorous assessment and additional assignment work, tailored to the graduate student's interests. |
