| Course Description |
This course examines the principles and practice of corporate governance, and provides a framework for analysing issues in the governance of corporations. Topics covered in the course look at the roles of stakeholders in corporate governance, emphasising shareholders, directors and management. Attention is also given to selected international corporate governance issues and the regulation of corporations in the public interest. |

Teaching for this course is likely to be in the format of one 3 hour seminar per week; however, enrolment numbers may dictate that it be run differently. Students are expected to fully take part in the course, to read all required readings, participate in discussions and undertake individual research. |
