Course Description

A continuation of the work in Modern Chinese 3.

Building a confident ability in spoken and written Chinese and an understanding of the culture and history of China

Indicative Assessment

Take-home Weekly test 10%

In-class test ( listening tute) 5%

In-class test (reading tute)  5%

In-class test ( grammar tute) 5%

In-class test ( lecture) 5%

Reading test (week 5) 10%

Writing test (week 8) 10%

Speaking test (week 8) 10%

Listening test (week 13) 10%

End of semester exam 30%  

The assessment for this class will be finalised after class discussion
