| Course Description |
A project is designed to provide an insight into the conceptual and visual possibilities of video, to introduce students to basic video shooting and editing techniques and processes. Students will be required to participate in technical programs and demonstrations aimed to develop an understanding and proficiency in the use of video and editing equipment. A material list giving basic requirements will be issued at enrolment. Occupation Health and Safety instruction is included. Note: Places in this course are limited. Students are advised to enrol as early as possible. |

Portfolio of Studio Work (80%) [LO’s 1 - 7] Visual Diary/Blog (20%). [1 - 7] Assessment includes periodic critique and review sessions that provide ongoing feedback on work in progress. |

4 hours per week lectures, tutorials, critiques and supervised studio practice and 6 hours per week independent studio practice and other research. |
