| Course Description |
CAD-Design-Create 1 is an elective that introduces students to basic skills, techniques and processes of computer-based design for 2D and 3D manufacturing. This course aims to prepare and present basic design concepts and materialize them with computer controlled fabrication processes. A series of given exercises will lead to student driven projects with a focus on individual interest. These projects will introduce progressively complex drawing, modelling and rendering methods. Conceptual and thematic issues are addressed. Occupational health and safety instruction is an integral part of this course. |
